Event Description
We created chaos from trash to get rid of all the papers collected throughout a semester by our flashmob “Bye, Papers”. In 2018 and 2019, a group of founders of this club gathered students in one dorm block with all their notebooks, paper handouts and announced: throw all your papers off the balconies. And so they did, A4 sheets of paper floated in the air like snowflakes on a winter day, heavier notebooks and notepads flew faster, landing with a crash on the floor. All the collected paper was sent for recycling, and this initiative was forgotten after the transition to distance learning.
Now, already in 2024, we have revived this unusual way of collecting waste paper and hope that it made students think about the amount of trash we create!
