Event Description
As part of my second Climate X event, I organized an art exhibition titled "Art for Earth" to engage schoolchildren in addressing climate change. Schools from Sri Lanka's Western Province participated in this meaningful program under the theme "Solutions for Climate Change and a Green Future."
The exhibition featured around 60 creative drawings, showcasing students' innovative ideas and critical thinking about sustainability. This hands-on activity provided a more impactful learning experience than traditional lectures, effectively promoting awareness and proactive thinking about climate action.
"Art for Earth" demonstrated the power of creative expression as a tool to educate and inspire the younger generation, leaving a lasting impression on participants and audiences alike.
